Ipsos MORI - Social Research Institute - Online Panel Header

Ipsos MORI’s online panel of over 370,000 people can give you access to groups of people who are more environmentally active and those who aren’t.

This includes:

  • Over 25,000 people who have sent items to be recycled in the past 12 months
  • Nearly 10,000 people who do not actively try and reduce their car usage*
  • More than 20,000 people who have tried to be more energy efficient in the past 12 months
  • More than 13,000 people who have tried to reduce the amount of water they use in the past 12 months
  • And more than 15,000 people who think being able to spend time in the natural environment is crucial or very important

Not only can we easily contact these people we can also provide key demographic information as well as explore their views on a whole host of other issues, such as reducing their car usage to put this into wider context.

We know those aged 16-34 are significantly less likely to send items to be recycled than those aged 35 and over**. We can contact over 5,000 people aged 16-34 who do recycle to find out what motivates them.
