Customers Positive On Bill Payment

Most PayPoint customers would rather pay their household bills than watch a party political broadcast or visit the dentist, according to MORI. The survey was conducted among customers of PayPoint, a UK electronic payment service provider.

Key research findings include:

  • Three quarters (74%) of interviewees agreed that paying household bills is preferable to watching party political broadcasts, with half (50%) agreeing strongly
  • Two in three (62%) would rather pay household bills than visit the dentist

Technical details

Results based on 1,001 interviews with PayPoint customers who have made a transaction in the past seven days. Fieldwork was carried out between 30 September and 20 October 2002.
