Public Attitudes Towards The Future Of Gibraltar

Almost 80 per cent of British people think that the Gibraltarians should have the right to decide about the future of Gibraltar say the findings of a MORI poll taken last weekend (15-17 March).

  • MORI interviewed a representative sample of 1,003 British adults aged 16+ by telephone between 15-17 March 2002.

I am now going to ask you some questions about Gibraltar. As you may know, the residents of Gibraltar are British citizens. At the moment the British and Spanish Governments are discussing the future of Gibraltar, which currently belongs to Britain.
