This Atkinson presents the findings of research conducted by the MORI Social Research Institute on behalf of The Boundary Committee for England in 44 two-tier local authority areas in three regions in the north of England: Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and the North West. The aim of this research is to establish the patterns of community identity in two-tier local authorities within these regions.
