January
28th January: Ben Page spoke at Drugs and Harm: A New Agenda for A New Government? in Windsor, Berkshire. Ben spoke at the session entitled Where do people get their views about drugs and drug use?

23 February: Ben Page spoke at the CABE Space Leader’s Programme at the Marriott Hollins Hall in Baildon near Bradford. Ben presented two topic areas:

2 March: Ben Page spoke at the
21st Annual Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) South East Branch Conference at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.
6 March: Ben Page spoke at the Association of School and College Leaders Annual Conference. Keynote speakers included Rt Hon Ed Balls MP, Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families and Carol Ann Duffy, the Poet Laureate.
8 - 9 March: Richard Windle (Ipsos MediaCT) will speak at the Mobile Research conference 2010 (Swissôtel The Howard – London). The session will be entitled What does the decline of fixed line telephone mean for market research and the mobile in research?
23 March: Steve Bell will speak at the Research 2010 event at the Park Plaza, Riverbank, London. Steve will speak on the topic Better Ways of Listening in Qualitative Research.
25 March: Ben Page will speak at the Local Government Chronicle's National Improvement & Efficiency conference. The event will examine local government's drive to generate significant efficiencies, while providing value for money in their service provision.
31 March: Bobby Duffy, Managing Director, Social Research Institute, will speak at Neil Stewart Associates' Community Consultation Conference: Hard Choices, engagement and localism at the The Kings Fund, London, W1. Bobby will present on Understanding what citizens want.
April
12 - 14 April: Dr. Kirstin McLarty and Sally Panayiotou (Social Research Institute) will speak at the Local Authorities Research + Intelligence Association (LARIA) conference at The Royal Holloway University, Egham, Surrey. On Tuesday 13 April, Sally will speak on Life on the Estate. On Wednesday, Kirstin will speak on The question order effect: declining satisfaction with authorities, is value for money relevant?
14 April: Ben Page will speak at the 7th Biennial International Conference in Organisational Behaviour in Health Care (OBHC) at the University of Birmingham.
May
5 May: Nathan Bartlett, Head of Retail & Shopper, will speak at the MRS Innovation in Retail Research conference, London, on the theme: "Exploiting eye tracking research insights to drive in-store impulse purchasing".
11 May: Sarah Phillips, Head of Health, Ipsos MORI will be presenting a joint paper called PainStory…Mining Golden Nuggets from the Patient Experience with Lara Dow, Head of European Communications from Mundipharma International at the annual BHBIA Conference in London.
