Stakeholder & Employee Research
While your organisation tackles the implications of slow growth and economic uncertainty, there will be inevitable concern among those with a vested interest in its long-term viability and success. Maintaining communications and good relations with your employees and stakeholders is essential.
For over 40 years, Ipsos MORI has conducted research among audiences that have an influence our clients’ ability to operate. We have worked hard to establish our own reputation, so we can access the UK’s most influential people. With our office in Edinburgh, we are in a good position to provide authoritative, independent assessments of the views and attitudes of your employees and key stakeholders in Scotland.

Stakeholder Research
We conduct annual stakeholder surveys with MPs, MSPs, Scottish and UK captains of industry, and sector journalists. In addition, we regularly conduct ad hoc surveys among senior civil servants, non-governmental organisations, charities, academics and business opinion leaders.
Ipsos MORI’s Reputation Centre has assembled some of Europe’s most senior corporate communicators to form the Reputation Council. The Council consists of senior communicators drawn from a range of blue chip organisations operating across Europe. It brings unparalleled levels of communications expertise, and through our regular feedback sessions provides insight on a wide range of reputation issues both within the corporate environment and in the wider world.

Current Stakeholder Research Projects
Scottish Corporate Reputation Survey
Ipsos MORI interview 300 senior business decision makers of large and medium sized business across Scotland in September and October. The purpose of the survey is to help professional service firms assess their reputation and the drivers of strong business relations with current and potential clients. It will measure clients’ reputation against that of their competitors, assess perceived strengths and weaknesses of their organisation and outline the criteria important to senior decision makers when choosing a professional service firm.

Members of the Scottish Parliament Survey
The primary aim of the survey each autumn is to assist those in Public Affairs with feedback on what MSPs are looking for from organisations, the criteria important to them in making a judgment about organisations and their current perceptions of key organisations in Scotland. As well as assessing reputation, we ask questions that help clients identify how best to spend valuable time and resources when communicating with Members of the Scottish Parliament.
