Moving Mobile Internet into the Mainstream

Over the past ten years, the mobile internet has promised much but for many mobile consumers has failed to deliver anything close to the fixed (i.e. via a PC/laptop) web experience.

 

Mobile internet is still, after all this time, at a relatively early stage of consumer acceptance. Research from Ipsos MediaCT in November 2009 showed that just 22% of all mobile consumers aged 15-50 regularly used their mobile to access the internet.
