Technical details

MORI interviewed a representative quota sample of 970 respondents aged 15+ at 79 sampling points across Great Britain.
Interviews were conducted face-to-face on 21-24 May 1998.
Data were weighted to match the profile of the population.
Fieldwork was conducted as part of MORI's regular Omnibus for The Economist.
