Evaluation of a service providing advice to people interested in relocating to Scotland.
Technical details
The Scottish Executive established a pilot Relocation Advisory Service (RAS) which aimed to stimulate and support the migration of 'Fresh Talent' to Scotland. An evaluation of the RAS was set up to provide an assessment of the RAS concept and its sustainability and involved several strands:
· an online survey of customers
· an online survey of website users
· a telephone survey of partner organisations and employers
· qualitative research with customers
· qualitative interviews with key partners
· qualitative interviews with staff
· analysis of management data
· desk research on similar services provided by other countries.
