The Ipsos MediaCT Insight team works with a vaste range of clients in this area. As a team we have built up a wealth of experience on how best to research and measure piracy and its related impacts.

Our research in this field covers both digital and physical piracy. As well as measuring the prevalence and the motivations, our widely referenced work has estimated the industry losses from piracy and has extended to understanding the wider economic impacts.

We have specific experience measuring Film, TV, Music and Gaming piracy. Many of our projects involve measuring piracy across international markets. Our philosophy to piracy research is to ensure results are credible, defensible and transparent. Our work on piracy is used for business decision making and to support lobbying activities.
