Over half of Britons - 54% - believe that the economy will get worse over the next 12 months and this has become one of the top 5 issues facing the nation - something we have not seen for a long while.

Britain's Captains of Industry
Despite predicting a downturn in the economy, Britain's Captains of Industry are optimistic about prospects for their own companies. Just over two-fifths think business for their own company will improve, while a quarter think things will remain the same.

Tracking Technology
Mobile phone usage continues to grow steadily, with our latest figures suggesting 89% use a mobile phone, compared to 82% this time two years ago. Two thirds take advantage of SMS facilities on their phone with 21% now using photo messaging.

Sustainable Retail
Sustainability is a subject which is increasingly on consumers' minds and this has implications for those in the retail sector. Consumers want retailers to help them make more sustainable purchases and will be more positive about companies which enable this.
