Ticket Retail Channel Research for Southern. MORI conducted a series of face-to-face on-train interviews amongst a representative sample of customers (commuters, business and leisure users) to establish the current and desired channels used to purchase tickets. Access to technology and the importance of staff interaction when travelling by train were also examined.

Southern Gatwick Research. On-platform research to examine which train operator(s) people have used to travel between Victoria and Gatwick and why. The research looked at why users prefer to travel by train to Gatwick, whether current options for purchasing tickets actually meet the preferences of users, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Graduated VED Survey DfT Qualitative research among new car buyers, car salespeople and fleet operators about attitudes towards a graduated VED scheme and the impact this had (if any) on model choice. A quantitative stage then assessed the impact of implementation of the scheme in relation to purchasing decisions.

Driving Licence Security. A qualitative study investigating perceptions and concerns around the issues involved in creating new, more secure photocard driving licences. The views of a range of drivers in London and Port Talbot (Wales) were explored through focus group discussions.

Perceptions of and Attitudes towards Bus Services ARRIVA Passenger Services. A large-scale qualitative and quantitative research study focusing on priorities for future bus service delivery and reactions to new initiatives and the effectiveness of communicating these improvements to encourage greater use of local bus services.
