Victims and Witnesses

Victims and witnesses are at the heart of the criminal justice system.  Our experience includes managing the Witness and Victim Experience Survey (WAVES). Our trusted name is vital in reassuring this vulnerable audience that we will treat them with the utmost sensitivity and care. Read more link

We work with police forces to help them set their priorities and budgets, and with policing bodies and central government to get to the heart of public and stakeholder attitudes towards issues including neighbouhood policing, police accountability, and community engagement. Read more link

Our research integrates the views of youth justice service staff, as well as young people inside and outside of mainstream education to get to the heart of the issues facing the youth justice sector.  We have conducted annual Youth Surveys for the Youth Justice Board since 1999. Read more link

Prisons and Offender Management

Our work illuminates what works with respect to interventions, re-offending, and prisoner transfer schemes.  We manage the largest survey of prisoners ever undertaken in Britain, 'Surveying Prisoner Crime Reduction', and have extensive qualitative research experience with both adult and young offenders.  Read more link
