Public attitudes towards animal experimentation: 2010 report

The 2010 Ipsos MORI report on public attitudes towards animal experimentation has now been published and is available to download below.

One element of the research was conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and involves views of the general public on the subject of animal experimentation.

This report also presents the findings of a separate survey, on alternatives to animal experimentation and awareness of the work of the National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs).

The findings from both surveys are presented together to reflect the complementary nature of the subject matter.

  • The report can be downloaded here (PDF).
  • The full data tables are also available here (PDF).
