Face to Face
Ipsos MORI has one of the largest CAPI (computer assisted personal interviewing) enabled fieldforce in the UK with 1,700 interviewers. In the past year our field teams conducted more than 700,000 interviews with consumers, citizens, stakeholders and other elite audiences. In addition we operate a fleet of mCAPI units, using the latest handheld technology which can be used for short, self-completion or interviewer led surveys.
A team of Region Managers and Co-ordinators manage the day-to-day field operations and ensure that local support, supervision and training is available on the ground. These large teams give us true coverage to carry out fieldwork and qualitative recruitment across the UK and Ireland.
Our interviewers have the experience, capability and reputation for tackling and delivering the most challenging of projects according to our stringent quality excellence procedures, whether conducted on CAPI or paper. The team has particular expertise in delivering pre-selected and random probability samples as well as the more straightforward methodologies of quota-based and in-street samples, whether they be large, nationally representative samples, locally clustered or with niche audiences. Interviewing using CAPI allows data to be monitored on an ongoing basis, so that quality control validation is systematic and enables constant measurement of progress against the objectives of a project.
