Online Qualitative Research

A sample of our online qualitative techniques include:

Online focus groups
A real-time focus group running over the internet can be a great way to run qualitative research amongst IT-literate or geographically-dispersed audiences. Expert moderators control the discussion and clients are welcome to watch proceedings.

Online bulletin boards

Similar to online focus groups, bulletin boards take place over a few days to gain considered opinions from a selected group of around 10 to 15 participants. Topics are posted on a daily basis by the moderator who uses a range of techniques to control the interactive discussion.

Online discussion forums

These forums are simplified bulletin boards designed to run on an ongoing basis to encourage interactive discussions between larger numbers of participants. The moderator can post topics and edit or remove inappropriate comments.
